Talking Vortech G35 by Forged Performance

I don't post on here much, but I definitely browse through all the posts. I was looking for someone to install an SC on my 05 G35 and decided on Forged Performance because of the good rep they have with the VQ. Sharif definitely lives up to his great reputation for customer service!!! The install and tune was done almost completely in two days. FI is a serious and expensive thing to mess with, but I feel like I went with the guy who would stand behind his work 100%. I know there are other good tuners/installers out there, but my mind is at ease knowing Forged put my car together.

Dyno dynamics readout was 343.5 hp. Readout prior to sc install was 239 hp. At 239hp I had a JWT popcharger, plenum spacer and MREV. Those mods were adding approximately 14hp +/- from what a stock G35 is running. Aside from the Vortech the MREV is still in, but the spacer was taken out because of clearance issues. From what Sharif was telling me the same setup on the car with the spacer, was pushing out 15hp less. Car is still running stock exhaust setup.

*EDITED to show some pics of the G35*
1st two photo credits to phlypside from notfwd.com

I took some pics of some monsters sitting at Forged and of Sharif's beast on wheels =)

I dont have scans of the dyno readouts, but if I can scan them in later I will =)

Is the Vortech the supercharger that doesn't void your warrenty and it fits under the OEM hood?

Vortech fits with the stock hood on. It still voids your warranty. You might be thinking stillen sc's that some Infiniti dealer's are installing. I believe those keep your warranty intact if you stick with the stage 2.

^^Ah ok. I really don't like the Stillen hood, so in the future if I ever go FI I will probably go with the Vortech...

Looks nice.... I see Vortech has changed the pulley set up for the rev up motor . Looks like belt slipage will be less of a problem

Cruisin - Defi gauges...amber color goes well with the car. They black out when they're off...a little hard to see in the sunlight though.
