Going from a 06 Max SE to 08 G35 coupe
I am in the Navy and deploying in Dec, I have an 06 Max SE that I am selling before I leave so I am not making payments on a car that will be sitting for 6 months and really like the G35 coupe. I test drove an 07 coupe and then sat in an 07 Sedan to see all the differences that should make their wake to the coupe. I really like the HP jump and there seem to be a lot of changes coming for the 08 coupe that I like. The salesman recommended holding off for the 08 as he thought it would be a much better car. Downside is since it will be a new model sticker price will be what they go for....any advice?

For whatever reason the west coast of Africa is where I will be operating, on an old FFG...I was an OS1 before I went to the dark side...was with the PC community for 2 years, that was the closest I got to working with you guys.
Funny thing about pricing is that at least for the sedans there was not that much of an increase from 06-07 even with the changes so we will see!

Expect the 08 coupe to have around 330HP if history repeats itself... which it should, if Nissan expects to try to compete with BMW again. Also, they always try to make the coupe a bit faster than the sedans (though they failed from 03-06... meh). Though, actually... even 330HP might not cut it, unless it is at the wheels because the 335i is putting out about 275~ RWHP, and god knows what with a chip.
Expect the suspension to be inferior to the 3 series (again), though they might actually compete a little better in the interior quality department for the next model change.
I would FERVENTLY hope that they will offer AWD in the coupe, if only for the automatic, but sort of doubt it since that will take some thunder away from the GTR.
Other than that conjecture and speculation, I got nothing for ya.
