Transmission Difference?
Is there a difference between the 05-06 Automatic trans and the 03-04 Automatic trans? I only ask because of the "rev matching" tiptronic in the 05+.
How is the rev matching accomplished(ie what does the 05+ have that the 03-04 doesn't to allow for this)? Are these transmissions interchangable throughout in all years?

The 05/06 has downshift rev matching. The 03/04 does not.
The 05/06 also doesn't take as much effort and timing to "double downshift".
The programming is not interchangeable. THe difference is simply programming and I think that the valvebody is different (someone can correct me if I am wrong)
