mod or sell? s/c g35 vs m3?

well ive owned this car for a yr now and im starting to get bored with it. my previous car was a 400hp+ stealth twin turbo with tons of mods. this does feel slow compared to that but i took it for what it was: a nice luxury coupe that performs better than most cars stock and is reliable. this is my daily driver so i never wanted to go TOO CRAZY with the mods like i did on the stealth. i was always scared to drive that out of town for fear of some random boost leak or hose popping off or something stupid.

ive discussed this with my friends and they all think i should just sell this and go for the m3 as "it is an upgrade in every category." my other option would be to use the extra money i would be spending on the m3 to supercharge the G and do some other light mods.

i know this is obviously a G35 forum so there might be some biased opinions, but as car people, which would you honestly choose to do? thanks in advance

When you beat a G35 with an M3 everyone, including the driver of the G, expects it. But when you smoke an M3 or a 335i with a G, I think the look on their faces would be worth upgrading the G.

I would say that it is true that the M3 is better in every catagory withyout a doubt (performance handeling, interior luxury), but i would upgrade the G. The bmw m3 in my opinion is not what its hyped up to be. I think the only reason its alot faster is because it redlines at like 8000 RPMS instead of 6700 so he just has that much more power band to pull on you. If you wanted to i think you could rebuild your motor to handle 8000 RPMs and then i bet you would be right next to the M3 (prolly a half car back)

The M3 also is very expensive to upgrade since you can only choose from like 4 different aftermarket companies. I would say supercharge the G with a vortech and you will be extremely happy.

EDIT: If that didnt make much since dont worry about it, i was having trouble following as well!
