Hey guys,
I have a coupe with an auto tranny and its about 6 months old. Recently a major problem occurs while the car is on but at a total stop in drive and when I press the gas the car doesn't move at all !!! Then all of a sudden "check engine" and "brake" signal comes on and my car starts to shake and it turns off. Then when I turn the car back on it shuts off again but if i rev my engine in neutral and then shift it into drive then the car goes, why is my car acting like this, is it maybe because my injen intake? that's the only engine mod I have on the car. I read that the injen intake has a defect with the 6 speed but I have an automatic. Please help - Daniel

Sounds like you might have the big Nissan recall problem. Looks like you CAS or MAF is having a problem. Dealer time!

weeeeeee im soooooo happy, I hope they'll give me a new car, if so, Im getting rid of the black and getting a white G for sure, but im not going to get my hopes up, is anyone else having the same problem?

 

I just took the car out for a lil spin and now when i pass 2000 RPM the car starts to stop and rev by itselt, it wont let me pass 2000 RPM now !!!

 

Take you INJEN intake off and replace it with the stock one to be sure. Especially if you plan to take it in for the recall, just to help your case along. Good luck. Peace.

i think i should take the intake out because i know they'll find a way to blame it on something else so they won't have to fix it. I guess i have to find a shop that would take it out and put it back on
