Finding Tires for 19inch rims headache

I live down in south texas , and recently had to get 2 new rear tires for the coupe because 1) the tread life is in the danger zone and 2) there was a screw embedded in the tire also, I was told that they couldn't repair the tire because of safety issues having to do with the low tread, I was like ok fine I'll get new tires- plus they tell me our Bridgestone tire life span stinks as well ( all this is me being at Discount Tire ) the guys looks for the size 245/40/R19 and can't find any in their Texas warehouse and had to order them out of state, the thing that sucks is that I have to wait an entire week and drive around on the donut- I even called around town ( corpus christi , texas ) and NOBODY has this size at all, they all have to order this specific size- maybe I'm just ranting but I hate having to wait for something such as tires that nobody has in stock bites hard

Have you tried talking to the Infiniti dealerships in your area? I'm pretty sure they would have extra wheels or tires laying around since they sell the cars. It might cost you more since you want it now. I usually try to order some new tires before hand so that when I do get a blow out or nail I'll have one on standby. Since you're in TX try contact Grubbs Infiniti they might have what you're looking for.

Same problem, Sep. had a cut on 19" rear, had to wait 3 days for delivery for bridgestones. Driving around with the spare was a pain. I bought oem 19's for my 03 6mt, Seems more difficult to find 19's and more $$ than when I had 18's but the 19's display the gold brembo's better.
