Sound system?

Hey guys,
How is the standard sound system in the G35 coupe??
Is it worth spending $1K for Bose?

It's nothing amazing, but it is definitely a premium system. Bose's premium sound systems never truly impress me, but you will be happy with it, as I am. =)

Just listen to both at the dealership.

I have the Bose system and it is fine - not exactly something to rave about but I have definately heard worse.

The tweeters are no good. It's not worth $900, but yes it is better than some. Maybe some just like the fact their speakers say Bose on them. It does however play CD-Rs which it isn't "supposed" to do, or so I've heard/read.

There is a post somewhere here on how an EQ makes a huge difference. It's probably worth looking into.

Spending $1k in aftermarket equipment would certainly get you much better sound. Relative to most factory sound systems, it is above average.
