one day i went to this gas station and the guy who works there were like " HEY, Nice Acura",,, so i was like wtf..but that was before i debadged to Nissan emblem. Today i went to the same gas station again, and the guy looked at my license plate (xxxG35)... and asked me wut does G35 mean? i told him its my car but they sell as infiniti here but i debadged, and then the guy gazed at me and like..WHHHY did u do that???????? hmmm.....end of story.... any comments??

I wouldn't say you debadged, I'd say you rebadged.

Not a fan of debadging/rebadging. Pointless. Those who matter know, those who don't, who cares? They wouldn't get it anyway, which is obvious by your story.

Having said all that, I'll only add that I'm less of a fan of clueless gas attendants.

 

don't worry everyone has their own taste whether they like rebadging or not who cares as long as you like what you've done to YOUR car, and if people don't even know what G35 is then the aren't even worth getting mad or worked up about.

 

This is kind of a oxymoron to me.

I would rather have someone say "Hey nice Acura" to me than "Hey nice Nissan".

Rebadging and "downgrading" to a Nissan badge is soo _________.....

IMPO..i wouldn't rebadge. i debaded leaving the mt. fuji symbol on though.
