Anyone notice that after you finish washing the car, there's water in the entrance to air box? [img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img] .... Why?

it's due to the "ram-air" passage located by the front edge of the hood.

 

Its most likely caused by the constant washing!

Merlin, the nice thing about washing just before a 'deep freeze' is that the car stays clean for a couple of weeks. I washed mine as the temp was just dropping to below -15 C. Since we've been in the DEEP freeze now, it's still clean! Just have to brush off a bit of snow to get the shine happening. LOL!

 

I always try to wash before the freeze.
This time I missed it.
