I noticed that my skirting is chipping along the bend. Has anyone had this happen?

It's probably some of your friends.I swear, half the paople who get in my car close the door on the seat belt.I always wonder how they do it, it has never happened to me

It's neither one of those. It is caused by some black plastic clips on the bottom edge of the door hitting the sill when the door is closed

 

when I got my clear bra done to my black G
I had it installed right there too all the way up to the infiniti side logo, and now it never gets touched, I also had my side skirts, bottom of my back bumper, whole front bumper, 40% of hood, and mirrors done too.

damn..looks like a lady with heels has been frequently getting in and out of your G.

I warned my girl to watch out with those "Aldo" high heels when enetering and exiting my car. so far none..but a few rubs and scrapes on the plastic paneling

I have the same exact chips in my door sill. Think this will be repaired by the dealership under warranty?

Could be rocks? I dunno.

 

I'm not sure if they'd fix it under warranty or not. I'm not even going to try.

 

Is this inside or outside the door? From the pictures, it looks like the very outside.

If not, the only answer I'd have is a bad paint job, or rocks kicking up from the front tire and bouncing around.

 

Im with you on that...I have chips on my back bumper and the door sill as well...I took it in to Infiniti to see if i can get that resolved but I'm still waiting...I will keep you posted on this matter...Alohas

With the door closed you cannot see the chips, so it isn't rock chips, now I have a bigger problem, I WAS HIT
