g35's front license plate w/ ezpass

i'm from the ny/nj area and i'm pretty sure the front license plate is required for all cars. instead of drilling holes into the front, i saw this accessory part for the g35 that allows you to hook this part up into the front tow hook and attach a license plate that way. check the link below for the part.
Also when i signed up for an ezpass few days according to the website, it states that the g35 needs to have the exterior tag since the windshield contains metal oxide causing the tags to be read improperly.
since i don't want to have a big black bar across my plate, does anyone know if the ezpass tag would fit behind this accessory part? also will the ezpass still work fine? check the link and the pictures

the interior ez pass works fine. i've been across many bridges/tolls in ny, nj area and have had no problems.

friggin people at ezpass. i jsut don't want a nasty black bar bulging out on my front license plate that's all. its so easy to steal too. i guess its better than a white block in your window.

I have the external one, because I didn't want to stick on my windshield. The internal one used to work fine before I got the external one.

depends where you put it. if on window, should be below darkened area.

04 6mtC, DG - possibly most babied G on the board.

Same for me.....my EZpass works fine on the windshield, and I installed it in a suction cup holder, so I didn't have to stick the velcro part onto the windshield...

The Outside version looks like a slightly bulkier license plate frame....the EZpass part sits on the top portion of the frame.

How does the EZPASS work as a payment, takes out of my credit? What are the benefits besides being on the EZPASS lane?

Plan on putting it on my car too since SOMETIMES it does seem a little bit faster!

Here is my external one. It works like $hit! Did I mount it incorrectly? I set off the bell every time I go through the toll.

Any yes that is a Beastie Boys license plate. Pretty sweet! haha

First off, im in Jersey too and I wouldnt dare ruin the look of this car by putting a front plate on it. I've only gotten one ticket for it, and it was a time where I would have gotten a speeding ticket instead but the cop cut me a break.. so a $50 ticket is really no big deal and you will spend near that on that tow hook thing + shipping.. Also, dealers are supposed to put front plates on , so if you get pulled over for it just plead ignorance. Im suprised they gave you a G off the lot without a plate drilled on, unless you specifically requested it.. so you got lucky

Second, I have the EZpass on my windshield and have never had any problems. I even have it all the way on the top behind the tinted glass so I dont have that ugly offwhite box showing from the front. What I dont understand is that those front plate ezpass devices actually obstruct the view of the letters on the plate!

stupid lady at ezpass told me I dont need an external, even though I had specifically ordered an external, she said none of my cars required it. what a waste... secondly the external tag works fine as does the internal, mine just sits on the dash honestly and no problems ever..
