Question FINAL ANSWER: what size Wiper Blades to order for coupe DS/PS ???

I have an '04 coupe and need to replace my OEM wipers... I've searched throughout the forums and can't seem to find the final consensus on what replacement sizes are needed for the driver and passenger sides. I've seen 22,18 and 24,17 and other configurations. I've physically measured my OEM blades and got 23.5 and 17.

Why is there this disparity or is it just me going batty

Or does one order different sizes depending on brand/wiper arm (i.e. OEM vs. Valeo vs. Bosch Icon)?

On tirerack for my coupe it suggests 24,17 for either PIAA or Valeo. I think going for the 24,17 Valeos unless someone here tells me otherwise.

Also, can someone finally state for others in the future what the replacement sizes are for the coupe and sedan?

TIA

just get the OE refills. not a big fan of aftermarker wipers. they tend to chatter & have a short life span.

I bought some of the Valeos 24,17 (from their pull down menu). So far, it looks to be working fine. However, the passenger side doesn't completey touch my windshield so I bent it inwards but haven't had a chance to try it out again. When I do turn it on (morning dew on the windshield), it works fine. I guess I'll see once us Southern Cal folks get some rain and let you know. Only had it 2 weeks.

I took advantage of this too. Great blades. It finally rained here in Southern Cali over this past weekend and they performed nicely. However, the passenger side blades aren't curved perfectly and took me 4 tries before I got the optimal "curveture" on them (I bended them by hand). There's about 1/3 of an inch at the end that doesn't touch the windshield when you first turn them on (Only passenger side) but will make contact with the windshield once it goes up (about 3 o'clock position).

Why not just take a tape measure out and measure them?

Thumbs down Omg

mwarsh1-
I, along w/ some other fellow members, have little/no faith in dealer competence; which is why we HELP each other here at the forums with at least equal guidance/confidence. I hope your other 830 posts were of significantly higher value.

Tx to most of all

PS: While I've satisfied my request in this thread; no one yet, has responded to the last sentence in the OP's post - to help future members.
