Heating question
Heating question
The heat in my coupe went on for the first time this weekend and it felt very "stuffy" during the 2 hour drive. I figured out that I am used to having bi-level air, i.e. cooler fresh air from top panel outlets and warm air from floor outlets once the set temp is reached. This is how my old Mits 3000GT worked and how my wife's IS300 and in fact all auto temp cars I have been in worked and yet in the coupe it never auto switched modes from floor to bi-level. If I manually set the mode to use both outlet levels the top one blew the same warm air as the bottom. Is this how this car is supposed to work and if so what do you think of it.

Re: Heating question
For me, I either get all cold air or all warm air. Sometimes, to heat me up slowly, I get warm air from the floor only.
I have no problems with the climate control, personally. I am always comfortable (I leave the dual climate control at 72 F, for both driver and front passenger) and I am always happy, IMO.
