sorry if im jacking the thread but i have an 04 5at with nothing but a CAI on it right now and wanted to do some stuff to it but was wondering if the MREV is worth it on a non rev up motor im guessing thats what i have on the 04. I was really considdering the spacer, MREV, and ground wires. Also how much difference is there in the iso thermal spacer and the regular one if i live in texas/heat?

Hydrazine,

I am also wondering what about the non-REVUP motor. I have the 5/16" spacer already installed. Would it be worth it to get the MREV as well, along with a tune in case I go lean?

Don

If you don't plan on getting a tune, I would only do one unless you know your A/F ratio is at or below 13.

And the Iso Thermal will always make a difference in plenum temperature. In an Alaska blizzard or in Arizona on a melting hot day. It will allow your plenum to run cooler.

Hi Don,

If you know you are going to hook up engine management or get a reflash. Then yes, I would do it. Do everything you can to flow more air and then just turn up the fuel flow to compensate.

I have some prototype stickers. I'm evaluating before production.

And who is that in your Avatar?

Thanks Tony!

Appreciate it. What kind of TOTAL gains can I expect with a tune, spacer, and MREV2 or MREV+?

Peak power, average power, max delta?
There are a lot of different ways to define it. But in any case you can probably gain 15-20 with all the above. Results vary from car to car though.
