G35 CAT TEST PIPES HIGH FLOW CATS

anyone have any experience with these? they are just pipes that bypass the catalytics i was wondering about how they sounded compared to full exaust sytems with the cats but less restrictive mufflers. does it sound better (louder) with the pipes or are most exaust systems like the greedy, stillen and ingen have the more aggressive sound. i just think it would make more sense to replace just the catalytic pipes than the whole system at a frqaction of the cost. the pair of the steaight pipes come to about $220. thanks RX

Re: G35 CAT TEST PIPES HIGH FLOW CATS

I just installed the straight pipes in my car. I also have the Borla cat back exhaust. It is alot louder without the cats. I can def feel the power. If you still have the stock exhaust and take out the cats you will still gain some HP and it will become louder.
