Re: tiptroniC question =)

not at all/ i shift when it is at 6 grand that way the car will acualy make the shift just befor redline. if u have mods u might want to shift just prior to 6 grand because the car will be moving through the gear a lot faster so u will ned to shift earlyer for the computer to have time to compleat the shift beofr hitting redline

Re: tiptroniC question =)

well with a turbo charger it will just be bad for the engine because all of a sudden the fuel will cut off when u hit the rev limiter. if there was no revlimiter then theroeticaly the engine would explode. But with the rev limiter ur safe but it will just cause more damge when u hit it. but u should be ok if u were to hit the rev limiter a few times. With the power provided by a TT u would most lickly have to shift around 5 1/2 or somthing to leave enough time for the computer to shift. its hard to tell cuz i havnt driven a TT G yet. But some time the near future i will have on my self

I think TT= TipTronic .... right?
Nothing really happens if you just hit redline, but get to far and bounce of the rev limiter and your car feels like it just shuts off for a second or two, did this once while doing the 1/4 mile

wrong =)

TT = Twin Turbo
T = Turbo (single turbo)

For example, the RB26DETT would be the engine found in the Skyline. The TT stands for Twin Turbo In the SR20DET, one turbo only.
