Check out the link below. I had a hitch installed, with a full write up.. I have a black "G" and I only notice the hitch when I actually think about looking for it.. This is the BEST way if you want to bring your bike with you..

If I were to do this I would cut into my bumper brace have the hitch mounted to it and stick out enough for the plate to cover it then make a spring hinge for the plate you flip up to put the arm and ball in.... I dont think a 3 or 4 inch slit will affect the brace much
