^^^ The idea of a counter weight is it takes less effort to shift as the weight of the **** almost does it for you. But in reality... i haven't noticed too much of a difference. It just looks cooler than the stock ****

sleek- removing the shift can or cannot be a pain in the ****. if it is, just pull up on the shift **** trim piece, place some channel locks to keep the shaft in place and turn the ****. The channel locks keep the shaft from spinning. it really is that straight forward.

I had to get rid of that crappy "pleather"?
As promised, here are my Razo "Nismo looking" shift **** and my real leather shift boot. The **** matches the interior aluminum perfectly, I think better than the Nismo, that is why I went with Razo instead. The boot I just put it last night and I still have to put leather conditioner on it.
