Carbon Hood

Hello,
I was thinking of getting a carbon hood for my G but I think it might look kind of strange. My G is in the LS(lakeshore slate) color. Does anyone have any pictures of what this would look like? Any opinions? I was also thinking of maybe getting it painted and maybe fading the color in the vented area. I am interested in all opinions.

i think itll look good. do it. however, i dont think your billet grille with a cf hood will flow so if you get it then toss the grille

I think it would look good as long as you paint part of it to help it flow with the car.

My car is not LS and this is the Stillen hood but you can get an idea of what I mean.

I agree if I was to get the CF hood I would probably take off the billet grill. I was thinking of getting the Seibon G35 TS Carbon Fiber Hood. I was mainly thinking about painting the hood like the one that is painted on the APR Wide Body kit.

I found this one online, can you actually make use of the air scoop or is it just for looks?

I am referring to the top hood. I wonder how a carbon fiber hood would look on a black coupe. May be not too hot.

I'd stay away from VIS. I distributed their products for over a year and they have no quality control. 2 out of every 5 hoods would be so deffective (fitment and/or weave) that I would have to send them back because I felt so bad selling such poor quality pieces.

The vents are functional in that they allow hot air to escape the engine bay, lowering the under the hood temps. I have all the Seibon hoods in stock and on sale. PM me if anyone has questions

Jim

If you're in SOCAL talk to BOBSHUAI, he has the best prices on Seibon carbon fiber hoods. No one will beat his price.

Here the hood on my car, I'm still waiting for 'HERO' to sell me his stock grill (sorry it was early in the morning.)so I can paint it black to match the hood.
