Im leasing my G35 Coupe and want to get started on modding it but am a little hesitant because of the lease. Is anyone else here leasing their car and has mods on it. My understanding is that we're not suppose to be adding anything on it.

all mods are fine as long as you return the car in its stock form. so f/i is not recommended

 

Do what you want to your car. It's your money. If you decide to keep the car in the end - your all set, or you could sell it private party out of the lease as well, and get return on your modding investment, or just unmod it before return and sell off the parts.

Even go FI if you want - just don't take the car back to the dealer ever. I don't trust the dealer at all - even my TSB's are done by my regular service mechanic.
