Passenger Airbag ON/OFF Light

Does anyone know where the passenger airbag on/off sensor is located?
I think there might be a wire loose or soemthing because when my key is in the ACC ON position, the light come on which indicatates the passenger airbag is off. But then i start the car the light goes away, indicating that its on, but i have no passenger in the car. Not a big deal, but it's bugging me...

Dude ! I have the same issue in my 06 Coupe. As described above.
I think the dealer needs to check it out. I think the airbag is just on all the time, or I'm hoping that's the case....
If you find the solution, please let me know and I'll do the same.
Same car except you have the Aero.
Cheers,
Jon

yes, i had called the dealer for my 06 Coupe as well. They said the same thing as Hero. Basically, if you put something on the seat that somewhat less in weight (equal the weight of a child), it will fool the system to believe that it is infact a lil' kid.

dont worry buddy. there is nothing wrong with your car. so you can stop gettin paranoid )

so uh..
my 06 coupe airbag on/off sensor is always off(meaning that the light goes off)
when I have a passenger...and when I have NO passenger
is that normal?
but like sometimes the light will come ON when I have a passenger
and then it'll just go away..
so there is no way for me to prove that this thing is crazy..lol

I'm thinking that this is by design, and your airbag will still not go off if nobody is in the seat. I think more people would complain about the light if it is always on when nothing is in the seat. It's just a sensor that says "I know there's someone in the seat, but the bag will not be fired". After saying that, I've now got to pay attention to the light on my '05 to see what happens.
