That's the part I don't get... when we got the car and (theoretically) both bulbs were the same age I still had this problem. It's not that big of a deal. I have a couple spare D2S bulbs laying around that I am going to try swapping out, or I may just upgrade to 5000K. In my opinion that's a good balance of "nice looking" white light and usuable output. I'd never want to go much higher since you are actually losing usable light.

That's what I have, the Philips 5000K. They are great. I was in my friends MB and he had the 4200K (or whatever the new ML's comes OEM with) and they are yellow compared to mine.

Exactly my thought since the member stated that the bulbs were only a week old and I don't get why they would be a little warmer in color. Please let me know when you swap out the bulbs, as I'm in the process of trying to get another Philip 5000K D2S bulb. I'm sure it will either match the left or right side I just want to make sure it isn't just our housing and me wasting the money on the bulb.

I have an '06 MB C350 with HIDs and they are great. I'm not sure the exact color temp, but the light output is fantastic and they look whiter than the G35.

Each Projector has a step in it which causes the left side of each beam to be lower than the right side ( in our LHD cars). With both on the cutoff should look like this:

,,,,,,,,,,/""""""""'''''/""""""""""

Lol I tried. You can move it up a little to get alot more light on the road. What seems to be 4 or 5 inches lower on the garage can be 4 to 5 yards less light on the road.

But anyways..... if it dosent bother you then no need to worry
