I think there is someone trying to get out of his lease in the car sale forum for like $450/month. Sounds like a pretty good deal.

Lease depends on several factors in addition to interest rate, such as term of the lease, and residual value (estimated value of your G after the lease term), plus other arrangements like annual mileage, etc.

Try the lease calculator at http://tcalc.com/tvwww.dll?CalcLease...dv=1&AdvPmnt=1

Its average. You can definently push for 550. if you dont put anything down. I p ut 2500 down 400 a month for a year lease, fully loaded 39.8k estimated value.

I put $1,000 down for 1 payment, taxes, and fees and I am paying $413/month, 12K a year, 3 years. Sticker was $38,000.

Sounds like the lease payment you got quoted is very high.

Here's a tool that will enable you to quickly calculate what your monthly payment should be based on the purchase price, residual value, interest rate, down payment and other fees: http://www.efunda.com/formulae/finan...calculator.cfm
