Valentine One (V1) Install? Pics?

Hey I just picked up my '07 Coupe a couple weeks ago, and just dug thru my closet to break out the good ol' Valentine One. I used to have an 01 Jetta with quite a flat windshield by comparison, so mounting it right underneath the rear-view mirror worked perfectly... not so much in this one!

If I mount it in the center, it ends up being nearly mid-windshield before the rear-view mirror isn't obstructing the view. I opted for mounting it to the left of the rear-view mirror although I'm not a big fan of this.

So, that leads to my question: Who out there has a V1/Passport wired up, and where is it at? I'd love to see some pics and get some tips on how to make it look nice and clean!

Mine sits at the top of the window right in front of the driver seat. Cant really see it from outside the car, and it allows me to glance at it without really having to take my eyes off the road.

Mine is just to the left of the mirror. Hard wired with the wire run inside the left A-pillar.

I re-adjusted the location to be further up, flush to the left of the rear-view mirror. It's in a good spot where it doesn't mess with my peripheral, is hard to see outside the car, and is easily reachable. I just pushed the RJ11 into the headliner and down the a column so I could have it semi-clean while I'm running it via the cigarette lighter. I'll get to hard wiring later but I think this is going to be where it's permanent home is. Underneath the rear-view mirror is just a little too obvious.

Thanks for who posted the advice to check out Mike's mounts. I'm going to look into that before I start wiring it up.
