hmm weird... i thought they ditched those POS 17's after '04? maybe they swapped the real rims with another car and are trying to dump them on the buyer?

Those aren't the 17s that came on the 05 - I don't think they would go backwards...

The 17's you have listed for 2005 are actually the 18's unless they made a new mold/forging that has the 17's look exactly like the 18's from years past.

That's exactly what they did. My factory 17s are shown in the top picture above. The other 17s, the 6 spoke, are from the 2004 and older.

Not my picture. Pulled it off the web. I have a sedan, but the rim is identical.

My only point is which wheels were available and when. The 6 spokers were common 04 and prior. The coupe had the 7 spoke 18s.

05 brought a 17" version of the coupe 18 to the sedan, and the 6 spoke went away. I was trying to make the point that the rims featured on the 06 coupe the OP cited weren't likely to be factory. If they had factory 17s, they likely would have looked like the top picture in my post.

Cripes. Now I'm even confused. LOL.

the starter of the thread is correct...the 17s featured in those auctions are from pre 04 non sport coupes...it would never come on a 2006 coupe...the 2006 coupe will at least have the new design.....which can be 17....but not that style......that style is WAY OLD!!! RIP OFF!!!!

The interior shots have the aluminum trim though. Did that start in '05 or '06?
