door handle mod?


anyone on the boards do this, im sure its someone here. i love it, how much do you think this mod would cost?

I was thinking about doing something like that...but more like this...my friend has them stock on her 3 series and it looks tight when you lock the doors

15 bucks for the one on ebay--you get what you pay for. i think a good quality one should cost about 40-50 bucks if they're better ones out there.

you can buy a bmw one from a bmw dealership...i think it's like $35 each...i had pics of what it looked like uninstalled but i redid my computer so i'll have to look for it again

my sister's 335 coupe has this sort of thing. it's a nice touch. Although, i think they have led lights all over the place in and around the interior trim. Some sort of simulated ambient lghting.

i wanted to do it it white... sorry if you guys think its rice but im feelin it...

how would hte bmw ones fit on??? looks like a PITA and not a DIY

if anyone gets some more info let me know!

well, the bimmers come like that from the factory. So, if you're good with a dremel and soldering and a bit (a lot) of wiring, you should be alright to diy by copying placement and wiring. if not, I wouldn't even bother unless someone (I think accordfreak is well known for his led pioneering) tries it out and writes up a diy.
