Does anyone have problems with the kits coming off. I know that the side skirts are taped on. I have been really hesitant on doing any kits because I have seen some that the tape is not holding and just looks awefull. Does anyone know of any better ways of installing them?

 

I've go the Impul kit - not a single piece of tape....depends on the kit your looking at.

my REPLICA impul skirts will be bolted on

tape is used to help...but i dont know of anyone that uses tape only to hold on their kits...

 

Many kits ADD tape to make sure they fit well and line-up - but that is an installation technique, not a mandate.

I've heard a story where a guy just used ONLY the tape that came on his lip to attach to his G. And...well...it flew off on the freeway. HAHAHA. that's what you get for now using common sense.

 

yeh...iirc that guy bought the 06 sport bumper data lip from eric...eric suggested he use bolts iirc but he didnt and poof...bye bye lip
