You two with the superchargers do you get that same sweet "pshhhh" sound as the turbo charged cars or no?

Lets not pull the post count card guys...come on.

Not trying to throw weight and knowledge around. I look at threads and posts as a future help for those that search, the more detailed info you put out there the better off a person may find a total description of a area being searched.
Just purchased the car 3 weeks ago and just started posting...hence the low post count.
Been deep in the Buick Grand National (have a 86 & 87) scene for the past 6 years and just bought the G.

If you feel inclined to do a bit of research on me check out these GN sites and look and my post counts/history. Under member search, user name turbo nasty.

why does this matter as long as it is working properly? If you are basing your considerations for a FI kit based on the sound all I can say is.......Flame on!

Welcom to the G35 world . Glad to have you . If you plan on going F/I . There are plenty of guys with SC and turbo experince to help with the different problems that arise in doing so with this motor . SOunds like you have some experince in turboing a GNX . I think you'll like the G35 better

I do have stock internals, 7psi [bout to be 9!] return fuel system, 750cc injectors, fuel pump, UTEC, valvebody, clutches, torque converter, rearend, and tuned by SGP Racing. 350whp.

The Vortech BOV sounds exactly like a Turbo BOV.

Ill try to find a video which contains a G35 showing off the BOV of the vortech; Yes it sounds just like PSSSSSSS!!!

Ill post it when I find it.

The Vortech hisses all the time except under hard throttle. Immediately after hard throttle it hisses louder for about 5 seconds. It doesn't sound like a turbo with their quick BOV's.

If a motor is electric, why do they call it motorsports?

This Vortech G35 and the R-33 both have a HKS BOVs, it sounds just like mine and I have an ATI ProCharger. All three set ups are different, but produce the same sounds (BOV wise), my buddy has the greddy BOV on his vortech 350 and sounds more like what you hear on and sti, evo, and T3/T4 turbo set ups.
