look guys im trying this again and cant seem to get it right. i would.like to post pics on here but all the resizers i download have a 280 by 650 style resizing mehtod. not by megabites whats the limit if i do it that? i assume the 280 by 650 or whatever the niumbers are, are in pixels? i dont know whats that translate into megs? thanks RX

open the file in Lview

click file... save as... choose JPEG as the type and save it.
Lview will compress it...After the file is saved, right click on it, select properties and look at "Size:" if this figure is under 100 KB, this picture should post just fine.

yea i tried that and it didnt work. i even tried to reopen the pic with live view and it said wrong format etc etc. how would it know what size to resize or compress to anyway by doing that?

what is the original extension of the picture file you are attempting to open? What is the source of your picture? digital camera? Lview will open everything common.

I believe you are confusing two totally seperate things...
1. The DIMENSIONAL SIZE (height and width) of the picture..ie: 500 x 250.
measured in pixels

2. The FILE SIZE of the picture (how much disk space it takes up) measured in bytes (or kilobytes, megabytes).

#2 is what needs to be UNDER 100 KB. #1 should not matter if #2 is done.
