HEY GUY I JUST GOT RID OF MY INJEN CAI FOR MY AUTOMATIC COUPE


I GOT A NEW 6MT COUPE AND NEED A NEW INTAKE

I DONT WANT A COLD AIR I WANT A SHORT RAM THAT SOUNDS NICER AND DOESNT MAKE ME LOOSE PERFORMANCE

I HEARD WEAPON-Rs SOUND GREAT AND PERFORM WELL TOO

I FOUND THIS ON EBAY, THE PRICE IS GREAT BUT HOWS THE PRODUCT

HE ALSO HAS ANOTHER WEAPON R INTAKE FOR $208, ITS CALLE DTHE SECRET WEAPON

THIS ONE IS CALLED THE DRAGON

i trust ebay if its fake u charge back, but anycase whats the difference between this one and th e secret weapon

 

i would consider weapon-r products to be on the same level as apc products...it's kinda generic and ricerish...also i heard they use a low quality

filter...personally i would go with injen, aem, stillen, jwt, etc....if money is a problem then i suggest changing out the weapon-r intake filter with something else...

 

i had injen and my firend had a wepon r in his i30 it worked great, power, sound and quality was superb i would love that sound in my g

 

WeaponR is legit. Gdup35sedan has it on his car and it sounds great.

Weapon-R has been around a hell of alot longer than APC< you can't compare the two. When it comes to intakes lets face it. Its a metal tube and a filter. Not rocket since. The weapon R should do you just fine. If you are really worried, get a weapon R and then buy a K&N Filter

 

the weapon r is the ricest intake you can get. get either the K&N or AEM CAI. **** EBAY!!

weapon r? 120 isnt even too good to be true....intakes sell like hot cakes now...u could find an injen one for like 80 bucks now

 

why wouldnt you want a cai?

you can make an injen short ram too, a few guys have done it on these forums.

 

Too many posts on this board about hydrolock with CAI. No problem with short ram except heat soak due to no heat shield. Most people have best results with Stillen cold air box or pop charger.

 

ram air is as ram air as we can get buddy. Short ram is not ram air!!!!

 

u can only hydrolock when ur car is drenched in a puddle...ive driven in the rain many times....fast and my filter is directly exposed i never had a problem....to tell everyone the truth just go short ram...its easier in a sense that u dont have to worry....the hp difference is pretty much nothing
