I'll never get tired of driving stick. And I'll never go back to an AUTO car again unless I have kids.

no auto with manual mode is anything like the 6mt. also, if you complain about the traffic being so bad you cant drive it then you never drove a manual in traffic. the car doesnt have the need to hold the brake and its much smoother(if you know how to drive it properly). if the traffic is so bad anyways, why not just get a sweet bicycle and save yourself some money?

true that! i think i sat in an hour worth of traffic without ever touching the brakes...spacing...downshifting...timing...thats all there is to driving in traffic.

I miss a stick (does that sound gay?)...
Anyways, the auto is convenient and comfortable, but I miss really connecting with the car.

2004 6MT G35 coupe. Diamond Graphite with Graphite interior. 42k miles. Brembos.. Fully synthetic from 1200 miles. Everything but Navigation. Completely stock.

I hate the Infiniti manual tranny. You want it?

What would you tell Supra guys with 800+ rwhp who have autos? They have automatics because at that point, biult, they are faster then the manual guys.

What do you tell the Ferrari owner who doesn't have a cluch, only paddle shifters?... and I promise will shift faster then 90% of the people out there...

Maybe the 6MT guys just think its the **** cuzz their car is slow :-P

It's not so much which tranny is faster, rather it has more to do with skill and fun. Sure an auto Supra or Ferrari may beat me off the line, but what does that driver do to beat me?...Mash on the pedal? Takes zero skill.

I think we love our MTs because we control every aspect of the car. Everyday I drive my car it's like a new adventure...from down shifting to pass a car on the highway...playing with the clutch in traffic (no brakes!)...launching from a stop light...revving your engine in a parking lot before taking off when you see a hot chick

PLUS...ladies dig the stick
