How To Win A Street Race!
Strange encounter tonight. I actually never street race, as at this point in my life, I have more to lose than to gain by doing that kind of stuff.
There's a freeway exit near my house, where by the time the light turns green, you have about 10 seconds to make it past the next light. You don't have to go very fast (only need to get up to about 45 MPH), but if you putz around, you won't make the next light.
The light turns green, I accelerate (not flooring it). The car next to me is gunning it. He prob thought that I was racing him. Well, without signaling, he just wanders into my lane, barely missing me, and I have to slow down. I'm pretty sure you can't help but notice my car, especially with the headlights. We both make the next light, but now he's slamming on his brakes trying to avoid hitting another car on the right.
The short version: If you street race, just cut your opponent off once you're in front of him, and you'll win! (disclaimer: obvious sarcasm here).
On a lighter topic, I noticed while driving home tonight that just my low beams will light up 5 lanes of freeway ON EITHER SIDE OF THE CAR.

I wasn't racing. But apparently the other guy was. And if I even tried, I couldn't win, because he's already cut me off. So what I'm saying is to cut your opponent off, and then you'll win.

Love your headlights.... I bet they were distracted by your sparkling headlights and it caused them to accidentally shift into your lane
