ANyone have pics of a G35 without the front chrome grill like in that pic? I think that looks pretty cool. What kind of kit would you need for that?

 

Stock style front kit. Nismo would be nice. But again, you'll have to remove the whole front and replace it with that. I would just look for an aftermarket front lip and it'd be just as good.

What brand made that lip that is on the g35 with a gialla grill?

 

Look nice, but i think Impul is still the best kit for the coupe so far imo. I'm wondering would it be weird if i only get the impul front bumper but not the side sill and rears, i mean will it make the front lower then the side and rear?

 

its a nismo bumper painted. I don't think the nismo bumper comes with carbon fiber at all, I thought it was just poly urethane.

Wow! I can't believe this thread is still hear. I was just thinking the other day that when I get my car back I'll have to dig this thread out! Hey guys, I'm glad you're waiting eagerly. I know I am. Actually, they said they couldn't finish it before Thanksgiving, becuase it would take 2 weeks. So, I just dropped it off yesturday and they'll have it in about ready by next Friday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Sorry, I haven't had much time to check the forums, Christmas is starting to hit all of us pertty hard.
And to answer some of your questions, my Nismo, front bumper and side skirts were fiber glass. I was kind of dissapointed as I kept hearing it was urethane. And I also thought it was going to be a front lip, but it was a whole bumper! I was a little confused at first. The Impul rear bumper and rear spoiler are urethane though.
Anyone can clear up this confusion about why or how the Nismo is fiber glass? Or are there different versions? All the places I checked out didn't even have an option for a urethane one. Anyway, I'll take lots of pictures when I get my car back! :-)

Where did you get your Nismo bumper from? They shouldn't fiberglass

 

damn..i thought it was a carbon lip..o well i guess i have to go with veiside!!

 

I got it from Teiwa in Japan. Are they all supposed to be carbon fiber? Huh....

No the Nismo bumpers are made of fiberglass. If you go to www.nismo.co.jp it'll say that the bumpers/sideskirts are made out of fiberglass.

 

Exactly! I just did a little research myself and they are made of fiberglass. Kind of upsetting now that I think about it. Man... JapanParts emailed me back saying it was calls FPR (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic). I was just like, yeah... that's just a fancy way of saying, "it's fiberglass". Oh well. Hopefully, I won't have any problems with it and it won't crack.

But first to answer your question. The Nismo bumper is one piece and is white, like fiberglass. They for some reason wanted to paint it two colors. I have no idea why! I originally thought it was a lip, and that's why they painted it a different color, so that you can see what you're buying. Not the case.

Anyway, what everyone has been waiting for. I took some pics. I apologize for the quality and pictures. The camera wasn't mine and the computer I'm using isn't mine. The camera sucked and the computer didn't have photoshop to touch up the images and bring out and improve the contrast and tone. But I figured most of you would probably be as eager as I was. :-)
