hey guys is this something where i have to drop the rim off at a body shop and get painted or can i remove the lip itself from the rim and bring it to the shop?

i have a set of maya rt5 3pc rims...wanna paint the lip..what are my options?how are 3 piece wheels taken apart?must a professional do it?

 

I just did a set for my buddies shop. Take the nuts off and pull them apart. Re TQ em at 30lbs in a star pattern.

 

yeah its pretty simple to take the faces off. I took mine off and got them painted.
