CLK430 cab
this guy i know with a 2001 CLK430 conv wants to race me. I think i should be able to take him, what do you guys think? I have an 04 5at Coupe with a CAI and open exhaust.

Depends on whether the top is fully down or only half way...cuz if its only half way down....then, it'll produce a lot of drag.

You should be able to take him...but on the highway, it'll be close cuz he's got a V8

If I remember correctly, '01 CLK430 conv. V8 produces ~275 HP and 29x torque. So that should be close race but I think CLK will start pulling away from you after a while.

The CLK wont pull away after a while you should take him...the CLK is very heavy and off the line is much slower so make sure you get a good jump and you'll be fine

Weight plays a BIG factor when racing... aren't our cars heavier??

a 99 CLK430 0-60 in 6.1.... so I think it would be a close race.....

I have raced an E55, it is a monster. On 1st he started to pull away by a little, on 2nd and up he was GOOONNNNEEEE!!!!

I have a 03 with cai and exhaust and I got dusted by my friends 01 CLK 430 and hes got it on some 19's....Its pretty fast but then again I have auto
