My moms had 2 BMW's and even when she sold them the interior was still flawless...

maybe its just me and my wheat interior... its a lot easier to see imperfections on wheat then on stone, or black interiors... but i still stand by my opinion that our quality leather is cheap... and it is by no way the same quality as MB or BMW.. supposedly its "not uncommon" to see that kind of premature ware on the seats.. but i still think its bull$hit... with how much we paid for our cars i think we should get a certain level of all around quality, call it refinement if u will which i think Nissan really lacks in the luxury catagory... also my seating wheel has these spots on it that wont come off around where i grip my hand...

again my point is these are things i have NEVER scene in any of the euro cars my family has owned and ur talking about 4 different mercedes and 2 different BMW's.. im gonna take my car to the dealer and see about having them fix it... i dont care what they say about ware and tare items... theres is no way thats normal wear for after 2 years, and i know im not the only one experiencing these problems.. It may be that i drive a lot, and that i am a bigger guy but i still find it unacceptable.
You are dead on with the need for better quality in general, and you should expect that bmw and mb both use higher grade materials, because frankly you are paying significantly more for those cars. There could be a difference between how you are treating your seats and everything else but that would be pure speculation and frankly not worth debating. I am 6'2" as well so I know it is tight, but it's not that tight. I still have pleanty of room, but I make it to the gym 4-5 times a week, So I am probably thinner than you. Who knows, I was being sarcastic with the fat line, so I apologize if you took it seriously.

+1 on you're a girly man with weak legs if you fit in the seats!

A lot of people have said this and I agree. The seats in the 05 and above are much narrower than the 03-04. I fit in the 03-04 but in the newer seats my hamstrings were resting on top of the bolsters.

How about interior craftsmanship. While the new sedan is nicer than the older models, my biggest complaint with ALL Infinitis are their sub-par interiors. They all look and feel like crap compared to BMW, Mer., Lexus, and now even Acura (I love the new MDX's interior). My 06 interior looks like it was designed for a 1988 Maxima and as most of you know the 06+ models have the new interior with better materials, etc. This was their second try at doing the G's interior because everyone (car critics and potential customers) complained about its poor quality. Once again they crashed and burned. Just look at the intrument cluster for god sake! It so ulgy and totally worthless! After a year the leather in my G looks like a$$ even though I clean and care for it on a weekly basis. So sad!
