What's next?

This question was posed on both the S2000 and Audi forums' I belong to, and I thought it would be interesting to ask it here.

My G is off lease in August, and I have been seriously considering what's next. I've driven and thoroughly fallen in love with the new 335 6MT coupe, but since this is primarily a fun, weekend car, I want to wait for the drop-top.

What is next for you? If you've already gotten rid of your G coupe for something else, why did you do it, and what do you miss, if anything?

you and everyone else has fallen in love with the stupid bimmer lol. If you do decide to get rid of your G, don't give it back to the dealer. Get a loan and purchase it. Then sell it. The residual value is only about 16k and you should be able to resell your G for almost 10k more than that. Mine comes off lease in 90 days and I haven't decided exactly what I'm going to do. I think I will purchase my G and start moding. I have been just researching and saving since I got my G and it is a virgin to mods (since it legally wasn't mine, it was the dealership's still), and I was in college. Good luck with the Bimmer!! Can't wait to see the first 4 and 500 hp 335i

G35 till I die baby and let me tell you why...

This vehicle will be one of those 10 years from now that everybody will still love and want. Look at the 95-97 Supras and the Nissan 240's...what the about the 95-98 RX-7's and the 300zx twin turbos. Cars like those never get old and the G35 as well as the 350z will be in that same category.

I had the G for over 4 years and it was time to let it go. I fell in love with the lines of the Porsche Cayman.

I've had my Cayman S for about 3 weeks now and I haven't missed the G at all.

I took it on a mountain run this past weekend and all I got to say is OMG.

although for the money, you can't beat the G in looks and performance.

Both you and Bull3T have made compelling choices. I too love the handling and power of the Cayman, and the "tossability" of the elise/exige. While the G has great power delivery, it's just too fat! Driving the S2000 and the G back to back makes me appreciate the luxuries the coupe affords, but proves that it's simply not a sports, but a touring car. I love it for what it is, but when all's said and done, it's just not me.

I would have to say anything that already comes F/I.

That 335I Coupe is pretty tempting, along with several other F/I cars from the factory.

My G is off lease in July. I also am thinking of what to get next. Here's my list of consideration:

New G
New 350Z
335
GTO
RX8
Eclipse
01-03 GS430
Nothing, go back to driving my first love, the 95 SC300.
