Couple questions (no user manual)

I have a fully loaded 05 g35 coupe...
I cant figure out this functionality

STEREO
-------------------
with nav can I watch dvds?
what is PTYCAT button
what is disp

On cluster, what does REV mean.

SEATS
---------------------
I test drove one earlier, I think it was an o3, and the seats would motorize forward when they pulled the lever... but the seats in the 05 dont. is this something that was removed, or something that can be turned on/off.

finally

I dont know which cars had the all wheel steering, what models and years, and was wondering if it was an option in 2005, and if so, how can I tell if its got it.

Thanks.

I have an 06, basically the same as an 05.

Stereo:
-No can't watch DVD's with Navi system. I was hoping the same thing with mine when I got her.
-Forget what PTYCAT button is for. I never use it anyways.
-Disp is for radio stations that transmit station name, artist and song title. Same with Sat radio if you have that. Press and hold button, then it will change to those types of displays.

-REV (which stays lit all the time) has a small red light below REV that lights up when you reach your RPM set point for shifting. The setting for that is on your third trip odo function. Factory default is 8000, which means the red light will never come on b/c you'll never hit 8000 rpm with it's redline limiter. Press and hold trip reset button when in that display. Will start blinking, release button, then keep pressing until you reach desired rpm range you want to shift at.
Wait a little bit (think when blinkig stops), then it's set. Now you can press again to go back to your trip odo A or B.

Seats:
Have no idea what lever you're talking about.

All Wheel Steering:
Actually known as RAS (Rear Active Steering) which is speed sensitive and steering ratio is tighter than ones without.
Only the 2006 6mt coupes offer this system as an extra cost option. Think for around 700 bones.
Your 2005 6mt will not have RAS. Sooo sorry about that... j/k

Here's a link to Infiniti's site and owners manual. They only have manuals for 06 and 07 for coupes, but the 06 should be fine for your 05. Just remember the 06 has more bells and whistles than your 05, like bluetooth, RAS, projector head lights, etc.

Navi: there is a hack or a module that you have to install to be able to watch dvd.

Seats are different from 03-04. when you pull the lever they automatically went forward. when you put the seat back it automatically went back. on the 05 you have to pull the lever, then push the button under the lever. you have to push the button to get it back to the original position then put the seat back. otherwise if you put the seat back first, you have to manually move it back. pain in the @ss. i dont know why they changed it.
