Air Conditioning Comressor Replacement

Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement
Hey there Guys, Need some help.
I just found out my '03 Coupe with 100k's blew the Air Conditioning Compressor. It seems really early for that, I've heard of it happening on Fords and stuff but I didn't expect it on my car.
Anyways, the Dealer is asking about 1500$ on the road for the Comressor, new belts and a recharge, and I'm just looking for some alternatives... are there any or am I out the $?
