Ran over a rock and broke my...
I guess I got lucky than... A pickem 'up truck in front of me, decided he didn't need to secure anything down... A fricken' tool box bounced out of the bed, and onto the freeway in front of me... It made a terrible kaboom when I slammed right into it, and I could hear it being dragged on the freeway for a few hundred ft.
I pulled over to look at the damage.... I'm so glad I decided to get the tow-hook-adapter front license plate..... It took most of the damage, as my front plate was completely mangled, and the bracket was bent a little... Otherwise no other damage, except for a small scuff on the bumper, when the toolbox finally flew to the side.... I know it could've been much worse....
I hate people that don't secure their crap.... On another occasion, I was getting on the freeway behind a uhaul truck... They didn't even latch the rear door, because it opened by-itself on the onramp, and a toolbox flew out of that one too... Except the toolbox flew open when it hit the pavement... I was able to swerve around the tool-box, but a ratchet or wrench or something nailed my windshield. If it didn't hit right in front of my field of vision, I would've chased the b*tch down. Thank god I wasn't driving the G.
On yet a seperate occasion, I was pulling onto the mainroad, when a Tundra in front of me lost it's load... It was hauling a bunch of huge cardboard boxes that were flattened... So easy to secure, but they didn't... It caught the wind just right, and a box that was the size of the bed, flew up, and nailed my hood.
On yet another occasion, I was riding shotgun in the wife's car... Another pickem'up truck was tooling along... It had a folded A-Ladder in the bed leaning against the cab.... That wasn't secured either, because when the freeway took a bend, the ladder slid to the side and almost went through my passenger window.

I was pi$$ed!@! and none of them even apologized!!! IDK what to do.... just a bad day!!
