Wassup Everyone..

I have been lurking on this forum for a little while. I am getting my coupe soon. CB or LR or DG auto-cant decide.
I was wondering if you guys can help me out with a question I have.
Is the premium package worth the money ($2125) ?? i was thinking about just getting the Power Sunroof for 1 G.
Is the Bose system worth it or can I get an aftermarket one for cheaper. Dual climate, auto dimming lights, homelink--worth it?? Can you guys tell me what you think since you have the car already....

Also I would have to wait for the coupe with just the performance package and sunroof...right??

I cant wait no more...arghh

 

hey, Chris.
I use the homelink system everytime I get in and out of my house (the garage door and the gate).
my friends, especially girls, love the dual climate control...I like it too cuz my setting is unchanged who ever sits on the passenger seat.
the sunroof is nice as in any other cars.
the previous car I owned had the auto dimming rear view mirror and I've been spoiled by it, so it's a must have for me.
the auto on-off headlamps add a cool effect, specially when parking at night or at a gas station...it seems to make the car more visible and people seem to love it.
and I don't need to worry about the headlamps being on or off at night so it's convenient.
the sound system could've been better, but it's not too bad IMO.
I used to have a better sound system (1200 W added to the stock Bose system in CL-S along with subs) in my previous car and it sounded AWESOME...I miss it a lot.
the premium sound system on G seemed to have better sound quality than the basic one, so I decided to have that as an option...I wanted to get the best sound system without messing with the way it looks, although I might add/change amps and subs later.
if you'd ask me whether or not I could live without any of the options above, my answer is yes I could.
but those are nice to have and I'm glad I got 'em.

to me, it's a must have for an infiniti... for function and luxury... it's worth it, if i were you, i'll get it! good luck!

 

I like all the options I bought (fully loaded), and worth every penny to me.

It also adds to resale value in the end! not that you would ever want to give up the G!

Worth every penny!! If you need to skimp then skip the Navigation System. It is almost imposible to change the radio, the upgraded Bose isnt bad.

The premium package is well worth it. The homelink is great since you don't have to have a remote on your sunvisor for your gate or door. The auto off lights are great if you forget to turn if off. The dimming mirror is a nice upgrade. The Bose is good but can be much better. After sitting in a car with Harmon K system, I was disappointed in the Bose.

 

I love the sunroof and the seat warmers. Well worth it.

 

I'd say it's worth it. I think I use most of the features from the Premium package (especially the homelink and auto dimming mirrors) and I like having a moonroof. I've been reading about how mediocre the sound system is, but since I'm not close to being an audiophile, and have never owned a car with a better stero system, it works just fine for me. In fact I think it sounds pretty good.

i think the premium package is definitely worth it.. homelink is useful so you don't always have to fumble around for garage openers.. the autodimming is something i've grown attached to.. and lastly, in regards to the bose, i agree with GX9901, i think it's jus fine as it is.. the quality is nice and i can get some decent bass out of it.. definitely better than what i had in my previous cars, so no complaints on my behalf..

Everyone says the Bose system isnt that great...maybe its not a good system if you listen to rap, but i listen to rock and im more than satisfied with it.

 

I concur, it’s definitely nicer than the stereo in my previous car. My music sounds great, plus the sub makes my rear view mirror vibrate—that’s good for me!

Worth the money for the extra goodies you get in the car. I got the 04 CB Coupe with prem pack no nav or aero pack. 34k and change for the car at MSRP I'm happy with it. Goodluck on your choice of G.

You're paying 32k or so for the car already. So what's another 2k? The Bose is a rip off, but with the entire package, you make sure your car has a nice resale value later. You'll like all the goodies. If you don't like the Bose system, at least Bose is a big name when your friends see it heh. Yea.. I'm sure you'll like it .. the only disappointment might be the Bose.
