Since there are a few SUVs that have faster 0/60 times than the G, I can't believe anyone thinks their G is fast enough. Granted that this is a subjective topic, but the standard for speed for me is at least high 4s in 0/60 and high 12s in the 1/4, and unmodded Gs are nowhere near that fast.

If the new G is at least close to those times, I'll be buying one, but if the best they can do is offer a car in the mid 5s and high 13s for 0/60 and the 1/4, then I'll be buying something else.

Infiniti desperately needs a performance division, like almost everyone else has. BMW (M), Audi (S & RS), MB (AMG) and now even Lexus has their F series performance cars.

yea the car definatly moves...but i would like it to be a little bit faster off the line...regardless though it is fast enough for a STOCK car. I would love a TT setup though, to bad its a 12 month lease lol.

thats strange cuz i ran my friends gs430 with an intake numerous times...he has like an 03-04 and i beat him almost to the point where its embarising. From any point...stop, roll, 50 roll, 80 roll w/e.

To me, I don't thing my MT6 G35 is fast at all. It seems the body weight takes away its power or something.

I know the next guys will burn me to the hell for saying that...lol

well i went from an 06 mustang gt mt to 06 g35 at and i think the g35 doesnt have enough kick to it lol, aka not fast enough but its not that much slower its got the kick there, maybe if i went manual but thats the reason i got rid of stang, manual = tickets for me.

interesting, i test drove the GT and thought it was one of the most sluggish cars ive driven. The steering was terrible as well, good move to the G!

hope you're enjoying it

The car is OK in terms of speed for what it is, but I think it looks faster than it is. It would be more balanced in terms of looks factor to actual speed if it had a 3.8 V6(or preferably a straight 6 of some sort) pushing 310 TQ and 330 HP at the crank... I'm kinda hoping that's what the new VQHR for the '08 Coupe puts out for power if they up the displacement as rumors seem to say they might.

Too slow in stock form, so I was forced to go FI. The Stillen makes it fast enough, but definitely not "too fast," considering all the fast cars coming out of the factories these days...

Weight is what kills the car from being quick...it is fast though. Overall, it all depends on your intentions of the car...some people have enough power to road race their cars...others need more power for the quarter mile.
