17-19 during daily driving-
25-26 on the highway, according to the trip computer.

In reality, I'm guessing it's a bit better than that.

With all due respect,
G's are known to have better gas mileage than Corvettes, I get roughly 23MPG, driving "reasonably", I can probably do 1-2MPG better sitting on the right lane on the highway and keep RPM's below 2K. 75% highway, 25% City.

If mileage is significantly lower something needs to be corrected.
driving habits, extra weight, dirty injectors, brakes drag, tires worn out or incorrect pressure, computer malfunction and such...every little things can contribute pretty quick. Have you checked your spark plugs?

maybe pumping different types of fuel may come into play.. if your pumping 87 arco gas.. i think anyone would be getting 13-15 mpg.. but if your pumping premium at a better gas station.. from what i've read in the past, they do tend to give better gas mileage. i dont know.. i'll test it out lol

It is pretty bad for a 6-cyl, but I've found ways to make it a little better. Like not drive it hard all the time

The light comes on when you have 1.5-2 gallons to give you a chance. I agree with you on the complaining. There are too many variables. Mods, Lead foot, accelration, AT or MT shift points on what determines gas mileage. either tune your car if you have mods, get it checked, do a fuel system flush, clean your air filter, or sell the cars people.

Uhm im pretty sure our G35 coupes have a 20gallon tank...so what are u smoking?

And for the srt-8 jeeps wow 6.5/13.5 mpg thats sucks but i mean it is a beast of a SUV, i love the new jeep srt-8s

My car was in shop for a week, and I had to drive a Honda Accord V6. The gas needle barely moved on the Accord. Not so on the G.

That is why I take the bus to work sometimes to give my G a rest.
