OEM spoiler for $279 painted?
OEM spoiler for $279 painted?
I was considering adding a spoiler to my coupe, but at $499 from Grubbs, that seemed a bit steep. I then found a website selling a "factory style" spoiler for $279 painted. Their website is http://www.autoairplus.com/Infiniti_...oiler_1792.htm. Does this seem like a good deal, or is this spoiler of lesser quality than OEM.
I would also have to install this spoiler myself. Is this a do-it-youself job? About the only work I've done on cars is changing my oil.

Re: OEM spoiler for $279 painted?
i can tell you first hand that the aftermarket spoilers LOOK the same as the oem ones, but are NOT made the same. The brake light assembly, gasket and mounting system is entirely different. The aftermarket spoilers are much more prone to water leakage.
