how many of you take your g35 in the dealer for the regular oil change/maintenance? do they wash your car for you every time you go? arghh, i prefer them not to, but is this a normal routine? i found a ton of scratch marks on my car from them, sigh... i would rather them do the regular maintenance and nothing else. anyone else infiniti's dealer do this as well?

 

I think a lot of the dealerships wash their customer's cars after service as a complimentary service.
I do my own service generally, but if I didn't want the washing, I'd have the service manager write on the W/O -- DO NOT WASH.

i jus got my oil change done last week and my service advisor asked me whether i wanted a wash or not.. simple as that.. if they don't ask, jus tell them..

i just tell them "no wash" and they're pretty good about not doing it, but i remember seeing some forum members saying the dealer forgets and washes it anyway -- so be sure you make them remember.

the only time they washed mine was when i first got the car. i've seen the guy who washes the cars and those towels sure don't look like microfiber. they look like the towels they gave out during highschool swim class. [img]/w3timages/icons/crazy.gif[/img]
