I paid a tow truck $25 to get the G35c out. Another $25 ticket for parking in a no parking zone/snow emergency road while driving to get water/salt to put in the trunk. I have to called out because i can't get my car out of the road in time for work.
I'll need to change the tires to my 300z 16" winter BRIDGESTONE BLIZZAK MZ-03 tires.
I wonder from 18" to 16" would the car feel any different.
Also the tires are BF g-Force™ T/A® KDW which stated "Exceptional dry and wet traction and handling with low noise."
I learn my lesson and i'll put on my winter tires this season.
I can feel that G35c does not have traction like my 300z or maybe i am driving summer tires.

Same BF tires. I will try to move her in a bit. I don't really have to go anywhere today. It never really snows in philly anymore, so I think snow tires are a waste; plus there are cabs and trains. Anyway, the sun is out and the other cars on the road are making the roads driveable again.

Sorry man, but you completely had this coming to you. You say you hate the G Coupe in the snow........news flash it's not your car's fault. I can't believe you chose to run summer tires when you already have a winter setup.

I think I've read that 17" is the smallest you should ever go on the G. The suspension isn't built to work with a 16" setup. I'm sure someone else can confirm or deny this.

I left my car home in the garage and walked the mile to the train station.

I don't think Philly has plowed any streets. None of the streets in my neighborhood were plowed this morning. Downtown, nothing including Market Street were plowed when I went to get lunch.

03-04 on brembo coupes and all 03-04 sedans can fit 16" wheels, but the larger brakes on the 05-06 models won't allow for a 16" wheel. Suspension isn't affected by wheel size though, if it clears the brakes, then you are fine

your 16" 300z wheels won't clear the brembos I don't believe

Falken 452s aren't all season tires, maybe you are thinking of the 512's?

When the tow truck got me out around 2pm Broad st was clear but Market st was bad. Its got stuck right on Market and 14th. It took me while to get out.

I did not try the 16" on my g35c yet but the brakes on the 300zTT are almost big as the G35c so I assume it would fit.

I don't feel bad for anyone who did not buy snow tires. You drive rear rear drive sports cars with summer tires. go figure!!!!!!!!

Let us know if it does, alot of people have very little clearance using the stock coupe 17's for snow wheels on brembo equipped coupes

Ummm yeah. You should know how to drive a FR car in the snow by now. That's all I have to say. Oh, I was snowed in as well today. Took 2.5 hours to get out of my driveway lol.

I did not have a hard time at all this afternoon. I just kept the engine between 1k-2k rpms while keeping momentum. Nothing like 25mph in 6th gear. I just don’t understand;

Cost to clear the street today vs. Business lost today.

Hopefully the streets are clear tomorrow.
