What psi for t1r's

what psi is everyone running in their tires (245's and 275), i know it says the max psi on the tire, but i havent checked mine in a while and want to know what to fill them to

thanks, Mike

It says 50psi i believe. I've been putting 44-46 in them.

ttrank Feb 14, 2007 04:42 PM

The 50psi is max.

I have Falken 452's but still 245/275's. I keep them both around 35-38 most of the time.

im pretty sure thats not good lol. yes 50psi is max but the recommended psi is in 35-36 range. it says it on the inside of the door jamb when you open the driver door

I contacted Toyo about the T1R's when they 1st came out and they suggested 39 for the fronts and 38 for the rears.

truplay8 Feb 14, 2007 06:02 PM

around 35 is chill

BadBoy06 Feb 14, 2007 06:28 PM

more psi means protecting the rim better..just thought I would mention it;)

I'll run 38's

You can't believe what it says on the sidewall! That's maximum psi, you
shouldn't be running anything over 37 psi in those tires. Try it, you'll be
able to enjoy driving your car!! The installer put 40 lbs in my tires when
I installed my Volks........I couldn't wait to get home and bring it down to
the 37 lbs I recomended.....major diffrence in how your car rides!

doesn't matter what tire is on there. the recommended psi on the door jam is a calculation based on the load each tire takes at each corner of the car.
