first off, "noe" is know. "oppions" is opinions.. ugh i give up.. search the forums. i'm getting the tein s-tech. 1.3" drop for springs. if you want it slammed, get airbags or uhh coilovers.

as far as springs go..
tein g35 s-techs
tein 350z s-techs
tanabe df210
are my springs of choice (df210s would be my top choice)

i assume you don't want to spend the money on coilovers..

then you have to consider camber kits..

If you want subtle, almost aggressive look i would say go with the Tien 350Z H-Techs...and you most likly wont need a camber kit!

350z h techs = not aggressive at all (unless you do the rear springmount mod)

"almost" aggressive = s techs

aggressive = df210s

uhhhh.... how about H&R sport springs very aggressive look, but you will need camber. they also cost more then other springs, but their ride quality is like stock. i have them and im loving them. gonna get my camber kit soon in like a week

^ I believe Tein 350z and G H-Techs will not require a camber kit

I have a phobia of dropping my car too low...my last car i had a BMW 330i and dropped it about 1" and it would always bottom out and scrape everywhere, speedbumps my worst enemy...which is keeping me from lowering my G untill i decide exactly what springs i want to use to lower it. I do have 20" rims though so it should help.

Not to hi-jack the thread but has anyone had problems with bottoming out with thier G and if so what springs are you running?

All lowering requires camber kits - it's whether you do them or not...Rick

to maxamize the life of your tires, rick is right. any drop will require camber kits to get the most out of your tires. but with g35/350z h techs..the neg camber wont be as bad as with either springs such as df210s and thus lots of people get away with no camber kits.

Not to confuse anyone but. The Z-Htechs guys state they "got the car back to spec". This would indicate no camber kit needed I would think?

i have 350z h techs. i got back into spec. that doesnt mean i'm not still running some negative camber though.

being in spec does not mean you will achieve maximum tire life.

OK - so put it this way -again----

Anyone who does lowing etc to the suspension on their car, should have it aligned by a qualified shop...then decisions can be made. this even goes for swapping out factory for factory springs, etc..

YES!

The cars are negative cambered to begin with...so you either want to align the car for MAX tire life or handling or a combination...each car and driver have different needs.

+1 on the using a quality shop to get your alignement

Yea the G comes stock with a little bit of toe and negative camber for handling, but kills the life of the tire. If you really wanted to get maximum life out of your tires get it realigned straight and not to factory specs, but will be giving up some handling ability.
