Bought my G35 coupe @ the end of Aug. I have been having trouble with water getting in the trunk when you open it. (Red Willow did also and it was fixed). I bought the car at Herb Chambers in MA (never go there) and took it to InSkip in RI (nice people) to be checked. They checked it once. Said the spoiler was not installed properly and "fixed" it. Still getting water. Trunk lid froze closed on me twice when it was cold. The trunk is still full of water when you open it. Back to InSkip. Found out today that, apparently, H.C. installed an after market spoiler. Infinity Corporate says they're not responsible (not an Infinity part). It's a dealer issue. We were told. by H.C. that we had to wait for the car because they were waiting for the spoiler from Infinity. As a courtesy, Corporate says that they'll try to work out a negotiation. That's it! InSkip is willing to do the work, but H.C. hasn't paid them for the last time. They're trying to help. Pretty nice of them. We didn't buy the car there. To replace this spoiler with an Infinity spoiler means that they have to drill and fill holes in my lid. I don't think a car w/ 1300 mi deserves this treatment. InSkip agrees. Where do I go with this? Obviously the BB and Attorney Gen. But what else can I do? I need suggestions. How can I solve this problem if H.C. won't agree to let InSkip do the work (they want us to hack on back to MA)? Probably to drill and fill. I don't trust them. I'm so disappointed in Infinity and the dealer.

Tell Herb Chambers Infiniti that you want a new trunk lid with the Infiniti spoiler mounted on it just like you negotiated for in the first place.
Don't settle for anything less.

I agree totally with GSEDANMAN... get them to replace the whole trunk lid...have them put on a new lid with the correct spoiler this time...with the other issues you've had i would def. settle for nothing less....
