Looking for some infor on the G coupe

Hi

I am new to the forum. I am planning to buy a car new soon and looking to get the G coupe but I really dont like the spoiler that come with the new model. My question is, does the old model spoiler will fit with the 06 or 07 model coupe? I really like the overlap spoiler from 03-05 model. And also how much is the out of the door price of the 07 or 06 model.

Thanks

Yes it fits.

We have a buying and leasing sub-forum.

first off welcome.

yes it is possible to swap spoilers, many people have done it. i believe all the bolt holes are identical so it shouldnt be a problem. most people do complain about the double sided tape that is used to hold it on too though because it does not want to come off easily so its recommended that you get a reputable shop to do the swap for you. ive been thinking about doing this myself but im going to wait till the summer.

As for the price out the door its hard to say. there are many different variables that affect the final price such as the options you get, whether its an AT or MT, whether your buying or leasing, how much your down payment is, etc. But fully loaded your probably looking at about 43k give or take.
Goodluck in your purchase and keep us updated.

and youll hear this many times on this forum, the search feature will become your best friend

Do you know if the dealer has an option to have the older model spoiler install instead of the latest one that come with it if you are getting the Aero Package option.

that i am not sure of, i have heard people say that some dealerships will do that but it may just be on a case by case basis. Youll have to ask around on that one

I've had two friends with the same color G35 swap trunks lids. It's a lot easier than swapping spoilers.

Most dealers will do the swap for you - it takes only a few hours once they have the spoiler you want. Don't let them dick you around on price either. Check the websites (edmunds, black book, etc.) to see how much you should really be paying and try to roll the cost of the spoiler swap into your deal.
